What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded and stored on a user's computer or smartphone when they access a website. It allows the website to recognise that user’s device and store some information about the user’s preferences or past actions. The cookie does not in itself present a threat to privacy since it can only be used to store information that the user has volunteered or that the web server already has.
The Nork Residents Assocaition website does not set any cookies on Users' computers however other functions may such as the Google Search Functions and the web hosting company.
