Peter Harp was elected as Reigate and Banstead Councillor for Nork Ward with the third highest nunber of votes in the May 2019 election. He believes in the importance of the environment, preserving and enhancing everything that is best in Nork.

Biography
  • Lived in Nork for 51 years. Graduate in Archaeology, Landscape and Environment.
  • Vice-Chairman of Nork Residents’ Association.
  • Archaeologist and historian. Former chairman of the Surrey Archaeological Research Committee co-ordinating archaeology in Surrey and the South London boroughs.
  • Lectured at the British Museum and Museum of London and is an advisor to English Heritage and The National Trust,
Together with our other two Borough Councillors, he believes that party politics are best left out of local government.
